The House and Gardens
RNR has a big, fully functional kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, blender, plates, cups, glasses, flatware, cookware, pots and pans, that is available to all of our guests.
Spices, bottled water, coffee & filters, milk & sugar and other staples are available for a small donation for replacement.
Our communal living area includes a good library with lots of books, surf mags, info brochures, and other reading material as well as a stereo with C/Ds and an i-pod hook up. We have backgammon, chess, cribbage, and checkers as well as cards and other games to enjoy in your free time. RNR is completely screened in so no need to bring your mosquito net.
Our back yard which borders the river is fully landscaped and green with hammocks in the shade and an Indonesian style cushioned and pillowed lounge area where you can kick back and watch the sun rise, moon rise, birds, and the abondance of river life flow by.
The roof of the Indo lounge doubles as an 8’ by 8’ padded yoga platform with a beautiful sunrise view.
Our BBQ/Bar area has a big BBQ pit, two burner stove, sink, coffee maker, I-pod speakers, fridge and stove for a great cook out/party area. On the rivers edge just a few steps away, we have a small pier and a canoe for river exploring bird watching or fishing. River fishing is strictly catch and release. Beach fishing is good depending on the time of year and offshore fishing trips available depending on weather conditions.
RNR is located about 100 steps back from the beach and right on the river front so it’s nice and quiet. We have covered parking out front for your car, and in our front yard, board racks, cloths line, and an outside foot wash/shower for when you come home from the beach.
